Accenture - Onward Path

Accenture invited Wonnarua artist Saretta Fielding to create an artwork sharing the story of the Accenture community and their commitment for reconciliation in Australia. Creative agency CoBox were also invited to create an acknowledgment of country film documenting the artwork and messages of reconciliation from the Accenture team. pictureDRIFT had the great honour to bring Saretta's amazing artwork to life through animation for the film.

Our creative process was to approach the animation in a very cinematic way by replicate the rich texture and dimensionality of the physical artwork using the procedural power of Houdini to give each paint stroke a unique character, then using the Octane physical renderer to photograph the digital artwork to replicate the feel of a real object being filmed.

An additional creative intention was to blend the digital artwork seamlessly with the epic landscape shots filmed by CoBox and the physical artwork by Saretta Fielding.
