QBE Insurance TVC

pictureDRIFT worked with production company ShotBox and advertising agency SOSS Creative to produce two animated commercials for QBE.
This aim of the commercials was to communicate the immense expertise of QBE through an exploration of vast and complex commercial ventures across the globe made possible by QBE's unique services. The commercial then shifts focus to the local, inviting the viewer to imagine the possibilities this global expertise can provide for them personally and their home and car insurance needs.
Our treatment involved creating a continuous fluid and free moving camera, which navigates through epic, expansive three dimensional scenes "frozen" at the point of action. Each scene was built from a mix of stock and commissioned photography which was camera projected onto 3d geometry, creating vast three dimensional spaces frozen in time for the camera to navigate.
