Clare Bowditch When the lights went down

"When the lights went down" is the the first single to be taken from Clare Bowditch's new album 'The Moon Looked On'. The song is about the aftermath of love-lost. The idea behind the video involved Clare looking out her bedroom window for her lost and beloved dog. She searches through a dream space of shadow orchestras illuminated by the flashing mirror lights of passing trains. The video is inspired by Man Ray's photographs, rayographs and turn of the century avant garde experimental cinema by Fernand Leger.
